PIMA 7667:2001 e-sRGB Legacy Standard

PIMA 7667:2001, titled "Photography – Electronic still picture imaging – Extended sRGB color encoding – e-sRGB" is a legacy standard developed by the group now known as IS&T IT10 during the time it was sponsored by PIMA (Photographic and Imaging Manufacturers Association, Inc). This standard is no longer maintained, but can be used to determine how to decode legacy images that were encoded using e-sRGB. PIMA 7667:2001 defines an extended gamut output-referred color encoding that is an extension of the sRGB color encoding and does not limit the color gamut to those colors capable of being displayed on a CRT display.
