Individual Membership

IS&T holds the premier position among international not-for-profit, professional membership organizations in advancing the science and practice of image assessment and reproduction. The mission of the Society is to keep members and others aware of the latest scientific and technological developments in the field of imaging. Today, imaging.org continues the tradition of excellence begun in 1947 as SPSE, the Society of Photographic Scientists and Engineers, as it assists members in the 21st century.

Individual Membership Categories

Regular Membership

Any person who performs, manages, teaches, and/or uses the science or technology of imaging, or anyone who wants to support IS&T and it’s purposes. A Regular member is entitled to one vote in Society elections and is eligible to hold office. See above for benefits.

Annual fee: $125* (all addresses)
Membership Term: January 1 – December 31*
*From July through the end of the year, memberships expire the December 31 the next calendar year and dues are prorated accordingly. For Regular Membership only, independent of Event registration.  

Add-ons: 

  • Add a second online subscription (receive both JIST and JEI): $45 
  • Add a hardcopy JIST subscription: $75 (US address) / $75 (non-US address)
