Conference Overview
Interdisciplinary research has led to advances in visual information processing, storage, and transmission that enable many new applications. The types of visual information are varied, and include photos, stereo images, video, graphics, light fields, omnidirectional, volumetric and spectral images. This conference is designed to provide a forum for exchanging ideas and sharing research findings in this evolving field.
We are interested in understanding the unique challenges associated with acquiring, processing, transmitting and reproducing real-time and delayed-time event content via new tools such as 3D and 360 videos. Areas of interest include (but are not limited to) graphical effects rendering, augmented/ mixed/ virtual reality, and mobile applications for off-screen engagement in imaging applications, in event areas such as art, dance, sports, telepresence, and other mixed digital and in-person events.
